The founders of tradidog and part of an experienced team ranging from dog enthusiasts to product developers and veterinarians. Our goal is to produce an innovative, high-quality, and as close to natural a food solution as possible, made from a purely plant-based source and easy to dose and use.
We rely on carefully selected recipes with valuable natural ingredients that have a positive health effect on dogs. Specially selected and processed flaxseed with a high omega-3 content, plenty of fiber and mucilage, as well as specific herbs and spices, provide the foundation for a balanced diet. The tradidog story

Formative moment in childhood
It was dark outside and one-year-old Kim was lying in his crib while his parents were watching TV in the living room. Her usually calm dog behaved restlessly and pulled energetically on Angelika's trouser leg. Angelika then went to check on Kim and was shocked to see that his face had turned blue. In a panic, they called the pediatrician. Relieved, Thomas thanked the beloved dog for her attentive behavior as she had noticed the danger early on.

The problem
Kim now works in the feed industry and strives to ensure the best possible nutrition for his dog Bailey. Even back then, he noticed that many feeding methods and the administration of algae oil were, firstly, not balanced, secondly, caused problems such as strong bad breath or unpleasant fumes, and thirdly, they did not meet his standards in terms of sustainability and health. As a solution to the problem, Kim had considered cooking fresh food every day for his beloved Bailey. However, he encountered many challenges regarding knowledge of dog physiology and the risk of forgetting important nutrients.

The idea
Kim knew from stories that dogs originally descended from wolves and eat a natural diet. He also wanted an innovative and easily digestible food solution with maximum naturalness and matching sustainability for his loyal dog Bailey. He considered flax - an oily plant very rich in omega-3 fatty acids - as the optimal basis for this feed solution, with positive health effects for every living being. However, a specific form of the flax product had to be found because conventional versions cannot be processed efficiently by the body.

The creation of tradidog®
In 2023, Kim founded the tradidog® label to provide a high-quality and sustainable supplementary food solution for dogs and to share his extensive knowledge of dog nutrition. tradidog® only uses specially processed linseed to offer a unique food additive for dogs. All tradidog products are rich in omega-3 fatty acids and other vital nutrients, promote vitality, support digestion and improve dog coat growth and quality in a sustainable way.
