Various fungal organisms (including brewer's yeast) are referred to as yeast. Brewer's yeast is a byproduct and contains a variety of nutrients that are extremely important for the health of the dog's skin, hair, nails, intestines, immune and nervous systems. It can also help with constipation, anemia, vitamin or protein deficiencies and is also a good source of energy. In addition to brewer's yeast, we also use hydrolyzed yeasts from the Saccharomyces cerevisiae strain. These belong to the newest generation of yeast.
